I enjoyed our first work with Antigone, and all of you impressed me with your knowledge of the facts in Friday's group quiz!
Christine, I am still trying to come up with a way of using your great question from class. The question was: If Greek women were not given power in government or society, then how come there were powerful female Gods?

For now, let's move ahead with reading. Please read and annotate scene 2 for class tomorrow.

Please also think about the following questions to prepare for our class discussion:

1. What are the three most important civil rights for all human beings?

2. Would you ever break a law? If so, under what circumstances?
