Impassioned Response to Macbeth

Directions:

Read Macbeth’s soliloquy on page 203.

Briefly answer these two questions:

What is Macbeth saying?

Why is he saying it?

Then write a full page response to Macbeth. You may use casual language. Speak directly to him.

Fill this full of all of the strong feelings you can.

PLEASE convince Macbeth that Life is not just “a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying

nothing”!

Or, if you agree with Macbeth, tell him why and how you can still go on living.
