Hello 9th graders!

I hope that you enjoyed the sunny weekend and that you are ready for your holiday plans. You have all been amazingly courageous to be so far from home for so long, and I hope that this holiday will give you a chance to reconnect with friends and family.

Your homework is to connect with your research group and contribute to your pamphlet. All of you should complete an annotated bibliography for two sources.

You also need to turn in portfolios to me.

Here's what  I have:

• Your last vocabulary test.
• Your recent test on religions.
• Your final draft of your Hero essay.

Here's what you need to turn in if you have not done this already: (Clip it together like we did last quint)

• Your final Gilgamesh essay with all drafts.
• Your copy of the text of Gilgamesh.
• One sample of lecture notes.
• Your first vocabulary quiz.
• Your vocabulary notebook.

A self evaluation. Please write a minimum of one full paragraph in which you discuss your strengths in the class.
Write a second full paragraph in which you discuss what is most challenging for you and why.
