Josh, Idol and Rex. Congratulations on taking the challenge of participating with domestic students in the debates! I hope that you enjoyed Friday's section and will enjoy the upcoming class periods with the domestic sections. I look forward to seeing you participate on Friday. Please feel free to email me with any questions you have or with work you'd like me to review.
I will share the book lists with you that I have gathered so that you can also pick summer reading, and, perhaps, we will work out a time together to visit the book store another day.

Other students, we will be walking to Elliott Bay Books today to hear about books and to pick summer reading. As you know, I'd like you to have a minimum of four books, in English, that you look forward to reading over the summer. You do not need to purchase any today, but please find books that appeal to you and make a plan about returning to China with copies. Of course, if you are prepared to purchase books today, that is great.

Please also bring your vocabulary lists - 40 words!
